Kokanee Freeride Series Toots & The Maytals bring Grammy-Award winning reggae music Friday, April 20 to Moe Joe’s. Trouble Andrew puts Olympic snowboard talents to the side for live concert Sunday, April 22 at Buffalo Bill’s. Admissions are free.

 

Whistler Dogfest Come out for the 10th annual dog parade to raise funds for Whistler Animals Galore (WAG), a Whistler-based, no-kill animal shelter. Lots of activities and contests to participate in April 21-22 starting at noon in Whistler Village.

 

World Backcountry Freeride Jam Two nights of films raise money for the Canadian Avalanche Centre. The North Face VIP Pre-Race Party begins Thursday, April 19 with Teton Gravity Research’s best ski and snowboard film footage. The Escape Route and Dynafit present First Descents - a collection of skiing firsts Friday, April 20. Both shows at the Cinnamon Bear Bar at the Hilton.

 

The Beautiful Girls are a bunch of Aussie blokes April 22 at Dusty’s Bar and Grill. Advance $20 tickets available at ticketmaster.ca and Dusty’s.
