The Callaghan Valley Local Organizing Committee (CALOC) is hosting a Nordic Sports Day Saturday, Nov. 10, at the 2010 Info Centre in Whistler.
The event is planned as an introduction to Nordic sports, with information on cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski jumping, and Nordic Combined. There will also be updates on the status of the 2010 Nordic venues, which will be featured in test events this winter, as well as a look at how people can get involved with sports in Sea to Sky.
There will be an opportunity to sign up to volunteer at 2008 events, as well as to take part in trivia and a biathlon target shooting contest.
