The weather was perfect for both days of the Jose Cuervo Peak to Valley Race with sunny skies and hard snow in the morning, although things did soften up a little as temperatures rose. Still, times were fast and conditions were as identical as they could be for two days of racing on one of the world's longest giant slalom courses.

The race got underway at the bottom of The Saddle and finished at the Timing Flats above Creekside. The total distance was more than five kilometres, with a vertical drop of 1,443 metres and 180 gates.

Finishing on top this year was the Northlands Medical Clinic team with a combined time of 22 minutes, 44.37 seconds. They also finished on top of the 150-174 combined age category. The team was made up of Phil Beauregard, Anastasia Skryabina, Nickolai Skriabin and Ryan Oughtred.

Second on the leader board was the Swiss Movement Team in 23:16.71, while placing first in the 149 and Under category. The team was comprised of ski cross legend Aleisha Cline, Stefano Nani, Eric Rey and Sammy Kent.

Third overall was the Spicy Sports I team in 23:28.21, first overall in the 175-199 age group. The team included Chris Kent, Anne-Marie Lefrancois, downhill legend and coach Rob Boyd and Rick Lewon.
