Mount Robson is not the tallest peak in British Columbia. That distinction belongs to Mount Fairweather (4,663 metres), which straddles the B.C.-Alaska border near Tatshenshini-Alsek Provincial Park. Mount Waddington (4,019 metres) is the highest peak wholly within B.C. Mount Robson ( 3,954 metres) is the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

Nunavut is, of course, Canada’s newest territory, not its newest province.
