Oh, Canada Questions….

There were a couple of errors in last week’s Canada Day quiz, as several patriotic readers have pointed out.

Mount Robson is not the tallest peak in British Columbia. That distinction belongs to Mount Fairweather (4,663 metres), which straddles the B.C.-Alaska border near Tatshenshini-Alsek Provincial Park. Mount Waddington (4,019 metres) is the highest peak wholly within B.C. Mount Robson ( 3,954 metres) is the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

Nunavut is, of course, Canada’s newest territory, not its newest province.
