WHISTLER FISHERIES STEWARDSHIP GROUP The WFSG exists to restore Whistler’s waterways through education, projects, advocacy, and community partnerships. There are volunteer opportunities throughout the summer for water quality sampling, fish monitoring, educational programs and habitat restoration. WHISTLER HOUSING AUTHORITY Provides long-term rental and ownership housing for Whistler residents. All eligible residents can register with the WHA to purchase or rent a resident restricted property. For details visit www.whistlerhousing.ca. The WHA also provides a free rental listing service for landlords. The office is located in Creekside at 325-2400 Dave Murray Place.

WHISTLER Museum and archives Permanent exhibits on natural and pioneer history. Currently featuring Picturing Whistler: Local Faces, Local Spaces and The Whistler Black Bear Project. WHISTLER PUBLIC LIBRARY The library’s hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays. Closed Wednesdays. Located at 4329 Main Street, Village North. Storytime for pre-schoolers takes place on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. Sunday storytime for three and four year olds takes place at 10:30-11 a.m. from April 17 until the end of June. WHISTLER SINGERS This adult community choir rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. preparing for performances throughout 2004-’05. New members welcome both vocal and instrumental. Call Candice at 604-932-3022.

ZERO CEILING SOCIETY Zero Ceiling needs donations of good quality snowboards, bindings, boots and ski/ snowboard clothing. Zero Ceiling operates programs that host at-risk youth on the slopes of Whistler-Blackcomb... some for the day, others are trained to become full-time instructors and end up living and working in Whistler.
