Paradata wins eBusiness award

Whistler-based Paradata Systems was presented with the Canadian eBusiness Leadership award for Innovation for 2003 at the second annual eBusiness Day awards ceremonies.

"Businesses of all types are learning that the use of the Internet is a strategic component of their business plan," said Paradata president and CEO Shannon Byrne. "In order to build a solid foundation and compete among the world’s best, companies in Canada must share information and support each other."

The event was hosted by e-Biz of Toronto and www.techvibes.com, with national sponsors that include the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Border Ladner Gervais LLP, The EssentialTalk Network, Microsoft Canada, Telus Corporation, Advanta Design, e-Strategies International and Industry Canada. The goal of e-Business Day is to promote Canadian companies that have been successful in implementing electronic commerce over the Internet.
