Parking contractor holding job fair Sunday

Impark-Lanier, the firm that has the Olympic parking contract, is still looking for employees, including students.

A job fair will be held Sunday, Jan. 10 at the Dubh Linn Gate in the Pan Pacific Mountainside. Proceeds from the fair, which goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., will go towards the Whistler Adaptive Sports Program.

Impark-Lanier has received permission to hire up to 75 high school students to work during the Olympics.

The company is a joint venture between Imperial Parking Canada and Lanier Parking Solutions that was formed to take on the massive parking contract for the Olympic Games in Vancouver, Richmond, North and West Vancouver and through Sea to Sky.
