Thanks and farewell At a farewell luncheon, Conservation Officer Service Sgt. Simon Gravel presented an award from the BC Conservation Office honouring the efforts of Sylvia Dolson, executive director of the Get Bear Smart Society, for her 21 years of "above and beyond the ordinary" contributions in reducing the number of human-bear conflicts in the Sea to Sky corridor.

Good neighbours During Whistler's last Epic Promise Day, Whistler Blackcomb staff partnered with AWARE (Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment) to build 12 community garden boxes and Whistler BMX for trail maintenance on the Pump Track on Sunday, Sept. 10.
