Peak 2 Peak, on paper

Whistler-Blackcomb is still on the lookout for talented artists to join in on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola launch celebrations.

Whistler-Blackcomb is still on the lookout for talented artists to join in on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola launch celebrations.

Earlier this month, WB officials announced a Peak 2 Peak commemorative poster competition, calling on local artists to submit their original visual art that fits the theme of “connection.” The selected artist’s work will be printed on posters and given away to guests who attend the Peak 2 Peak grand opening on Dec. 12, and the artist will receive a season’s pass, a $500 gift certificate for WB retail outlets, and 100 copies of the poster.

While the deadline for the competition was originally set for Oct. 24 at 5 p.m., the artists have spoken, and apparently, they need a little more time. So, the deadline has been extended to Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. For more information, or to submit a photo of your design, contact publicrelations@intrawest.com.
