SUMMERTIME STREET ENTERTAINMENT

For the little kids and the big kids at heart, the streets are alive with the sounds of comedy, congas and circus capers. On Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 7 p.m., you’ll never know quite what to expect when you walk along the strolls. Prime spots include the Village Common, Town Plaza Gazebo, Village Square, Mountain Square, and the Marketplace. Sway to the nouveau Flamenco sounds of Alma Libre. Sing along to the easy rock rhythms of guitar legend Gordo and join clown, juggler, and unicyclist Sand Northrup for fabulous shows and workshops. See www.mywhistler.com for a full schedule of appearances. And don’t forget the Farmers Market in the Upper Village every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
