Located in the centre of the action, it’s the top spot for people watching. Stay warm under the patio heaters or relax upstairs in the pool room.

Casual atmosphere for warm conversation and cold beer. Bar staff operate a sound system of rock and roll numbers and the outdoor patio gives patrons the best air in the world.

Great bar food and drinks, as well as a big screen TV – all the comforts of home minus the remote control. The bar staff also pump out classic rock and top 40 from the sound system.

Where: Amsterdam Café

This little spot in the village has it all – music, food and drinks – day and night. Great place for watching the local colour.

Located at the base of the Village gondolas, with awesome views of both mountains and the downhill bike course. Enjoy their telescope to bear watch or star gaze. Fabulous food, 99 brands of beer, 40 scotches.

ALIVE AND KICKING

This Munich-style beerhall will feature cash bar beer tastings, authentic food booths, The Edelweiss Dancers, a yodelling contest and live music by Al and the Alpiners. Tickets at the Whistler Activity Centre.

When : 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

This theatre company recruits 50 local children to put on a full musical theatre experience. It’s their 10th year in the resort. This year’s performance is Sleeping Beauty, a rock and roll fable for all ages.

This fund-raiser for the Zero Ceiling youth project is sponsored by Rossignol and will feature the original promotional film by local filmmaker Christian Begin, as well as a slide show by some of the most talented action photographers in the valley. Music by Mat the Alien and an auction of memorabilia donated by local celebrities round out the evening.
