SUNDAY WRAP

Rockin and rollin with Torontos Danko Jones. Founded in 1996, the Danko Jones band plays hard rock from their first full-length album, Born a Lion (on Universal). Their previous recording was a 13-song document, titled Im Alive and On Fire (independent, songs from 1996-1999), which followed on their successful tours opening for Beck (2000) and Maritimer rockers Sloan (2000). Fresh back from a Euro tour with Ozzfest in Sweden and the Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Danko Jones "cooks up Dankos bazoooka riffs, bassist J.C.s serrated rhythms and drummer Damons seismic stomps."
