Free entertainment happens all week, at Village Square, Village Common, Town Plaza Gazebo, and Mountain Square. Presented by Tourism Whistler, this weeks performers include:
Mike Battie, a Whistler legend adored by kids and adults alike, who brings dazzling physical comedy up close.
The Trolls, mischievous minds from the forests of Norway.
Mazimba, a West Coast African music duo who combine music of southern Africa on Marimba, as well as Gumboot Dancing from the mines of South Africa.

Looking for someone? Cittas central location attracts locals and visitors as traditionally the best people watching spot in Village Square. Enjoy a variety of pints on tap and chat about the ball game. Open for lunch; low key candlelight dining upstairs into the summer evening.

Brew House tunes are always hopping, from morning to night. Outdoor patios make for great people watching in the village. Near all the bars, clubs and shops in between Marketplace and Village Square.
Where: Hozs Pub
Hozs is still open during the Lake Placid Road construction extravaganza. Easily accessible by mountain bike, ATV or canoe. Cut through the Creekside dust and sit down for a cool one at Hozs.
Where: Amsterdam Pub & Café
A funky place for a pint, a martini, or a meal, overlooking the Village Square. Live music some nights. For an international, younger crowd visit the Dam.

Open Friday through Sundays, Merlins has a view of Blackcomb Mountain and the buzz of mountain staffers. Patio and occasional live music at the half-moon stage. Two levels, loads of seating.

The warming floor for locals apres-ski. Located at the foot of both village gondolas. With snow-capped peaks and the mountain bike park in the background, enjoy their telescope to bear watch or star gaze. Tasty food, 99 brands of beer in a gilded silver menu, and 40 scotches to keep you reminiscing.

Casual atmosphere for warm conversation and cold beer. Bar staff operate a not-too-loud sound system of rock and roll numbers and the outdoor patio gives patrons the best air in the world.
