Where: Dubh Linn Gate

The perfect place to enjoy a pint.

What: Das Boot Ballet

Where: Boot Pub

Adult entertainment all night long.

CLUBS AND DJS

Where: Maxx Fish

Guest DJs, plus the generous folk at Ziptrek showing their love and giving away free passes to the Ziptrek every week.

What: Fresh Fridays

Who: The New Deal with Mat the Alien

Where: Garfinkel’s

If you hate the crush on Wednesday’s at Maxx you can now find Mat at Garf’s on Fridays. Tonight features a performance by Toronto band the New Deal.

Who: DJ Milton

Where: Tommy Africa’s

What a treat! It’s a double dose of Milton this week. It’s hard to describe his music (just exactly what is tribal tech house?) but one thing is certain. It’s up beat. It’s funky. It’s damn good and it will get you dancing. Bring it on. Oh — and go go girls too.

Who: DJ Peacefrog

Where: Buffalo Bill’s

Watch out for the stagettes, they’re everywhere.

Who: DJ Derek

Where: Savage Beagle

Top 40 and radio-friendly hip hop.

PUBS AND PATIOS

Where: Citta’

It may be getting colder, but Citta’ has those lovely long windows so you can sit inside huddled over a special coffee and still watch the world go by.

Where: The Brew House

A little out of the way, down towards Marketplace, but a great place to kick back and enjoy a leisurely game of pool.

Where: Havana Lounge

Located above Castro’s Cuban Cigar Store in the St. Andrew’s Building, check it out for estate coffees and decadent desserts. Open Thursday-Sunday, 5 p.m. to midnight.

Where: Hoz’s Pub

Check out a different side of Whistler down in the newly sidewalked Creek.

Where: Amsterdam Pub & Café

Sure it’s getting chilly, but The Dam has these great heaters that blast the warmth down onto their patio, so even when it’s cold, you don’t have to be.

Where: Black’s Pub

The construction is now underway and the word is Black’s is going to have one almighty patio by the time winter rolls around.
