Police suspect foul play isn’t a factor in last week’s disappearance of a Whistler woman.

Alison Leanne Raspa, 25, was last spotted leaving the Three Below Restaurant at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 22.

Staff Sgt. Paul Hayes with the Whistler RCMP said the investigation has led police to believe that Raspa received a ride to the Creekside area after leaving the village restaurant and bar.

“Foul play isn’t really what we’re thinking at the moment,” he explained. Hayes would not say whether Raspa was intoxicated at the time she left the restaurant, and Three Below owner Priyanka Kathuria declined to comment while the investigation is ongoing. Hayes also noted that Raspa did not suffer from any mental health concerns “as far as he was aware.”

Local police, with the assistance of Whistler Search and Rescue, have been scouring Alpha Lake Park near Creekside after a personal item of Raspa’s was found there at 6:30 a.m. the morning after she was last seen. The RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team didn't turn up any clues after searching Alpha Lake on Sunday either.

“We continue to appeal to the public for any information about (Raspa's) whereabouts and her movement, especially between the time of leaving (Three Below Restaurant) to when she got to Creekside,” Hayes said. “We’re hoping there were other people out walking around that would have perhaps noticed someone. Maybe they just passed a person and there wasn’t anything odd or strange, but we’d like to know about that because, at the end of the day, what that might be do is provide us a timeline that we can piece together.”

Raspa is described as Caucasian, with long brown hair and blue* eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, a white-and-black-striped shirt, and black pants.

Anyone with information on Raspa's whereabouts is asked to contact Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044.

*An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that Raspa's eyes are brown, which was based on information provided by the police.
