Police seek three in violent robbery

The Whistler RCMP are looking for three males in connection with a violent robbery at a local jewelry store. According to the RCMP, three white males entered the Birks Jewelry Store in Whistler Village at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Jan.

The Whistler RCMP are looking for three males in connection with a violent robbery at a local jewelry store.

According to the RCMP, three white males entered the Birks Jewelry Store in Whistler Village at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 6, and were looking at several items. The clerk of the store was showing one of the males a ring when he suddenly punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground. The male grabbed several rings and the group fled the store in the direction of the Holiday Inn.

The three males were described by the clerk.

The first male had a heavy build, was clean shaven, and was wearing a blue ski jacket with black shoulders, dark pants and a black ball cap. He was between 25 and 30 years of age.

The second male is approximately 25, and was clean shaven with blond hair. He has a medium build, and was wearing a white jacket with a red stripe along the arms, jeans and white shoes.

The third male was also in his mid 20s with a medium build. He was wearing a ball cap with black and white vertical sections, and a gray and black ski jacket.

Police seek information on flasher

On Jan. 6 at approximately 2:30 p.m., the RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious male on the cross-country ski trail behind Lot 2.

According to the complaint, the male whistled at a female then pulled down his pants and exposed himself.

He is described as a tall, caucasian male, approximately 25 to 35 years old, with a round face and black clothing. The male was cross-country skiing at the time.
