The Meadow Park pool is back in operation again after a three-day closure due to a broken water main.
Two leaks were discovered in one of the main pipes to the pool after the mechanical room began filling with water on Friday night.
By Tuesday crews had found a way to create a temporary bypass to the pool to get it back in operation again.
Roger Weetman, the resort municipality's manager of recreation services, said it's difficult to pinpoint exactly why the pipe burst.
"It's probably caused by a combination of factors - cold weather, 15-year-old infrastructure, settlement issues, and there has been some sonic drilling the area for a geothermal project," he said.
"It's difficult to say exactly what the cause is."
Swimming lessons were cancelled over the weekend and Weetman said he would be talking to his staff about how they will reimburse families for those lessons.
Overall, he said he was pleased with the way the municipality's environmental services department rushed to find solutions and how PTK Contracting had diggers on site on Sunday to begin fixing the broken pipe.
Weetman said: "I'm very happy with the way everyone came together to... come to the rescue for us."
