RCMP investigate Christmas break-in

The Whistler RCMP are investigating a pair of burglaries

The Whistler RCMP are investigating a pair of burglaries that occurred at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Lululemon sometime between closing on Dec. 24 and opening on Dec. 25. In both case the thief or thieves entered through the front door and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the premises.

There are no suspects or witnesses, but the investigation is still ongoing. If you have any information, contact the Whistler RCMP at 604-932-3044.

Elsewhere, the RCMP had a relatively quiet Christmas with five people arrested for being drunk in public, four 24-hour driving suspensions (three for alcohol, one for drugs), and one woman arrested for impaired driving and driving while prohibited.

There were seven motor vehicle accidents in which the weather and road conditions were a factor, with no serious injuries.
