On Oct. 25, 33-year-old Wesley Toppazzini of Whistler was found guilty of two drug related charges.

Toppazzini was arrested on April 16 by plain-clothes officers of the Whistler RCMP after they attended an event and observed Toppazzini making several transactions. He was found with nine ‘flaps’ of Meth Amphetamine (crystal meth), 79 tabs of Ecstasy and $470 in cash.

He was found guilty of one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and one count of Selling a Drug listed under the Food and Drug Act. He received a 10-year firearms prohibition, six months probation, a $150 victim surcharge, and will forfeit the $470. He was then released back into the community with a six-month conditional sentence with strict conditions, and will be monitored by the RCMP.
