From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, the Whistler Re-Use-It Centre will be offering all items for 50 per cent off the sticker price.
The sale celebrates Christmas and provides an environmentally-friendly alternative to purchasing new gifts - the Re-Use-It Centre diverts over 45 metric tonnes of items from the landfill each year. The centre also raises money for programs hosted by the Whistler Community Services Society - including the Food Bank, which is assisting a record number of clients this year.
The sale will also helps clear the shelves, walls and racks and make way for new inventory as the donations continue to pour in from the community.
The Re-Use-It Centre is located at 1003 Lynham Road in Function Junction, adjacent to the waste transfer station.
