Real estate seminars offered to community

A renowned financial analyst is coming to Whistler to talk about how fluctuating foreign currency is impacting the Canadian real estate market.

Michael L. Levy, executive vice president and financial analyst with Custom House Global Foreign Exchange, is coming to Millennium Place on Thursday, Sept. 23 from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Among the topics Levy will discuss in Whistler are how Canadian real estate companies respond to changes in the volatile currency and interest rate/mortgage markets, how European and Asian markets impact Canada and how the U.S. presidential election will impact Canadian and world economies.

Levy has extensive experience in the foreign exchange industry as well as the investment market.

For first time homebuyers there will be a seminar in Whistler this week.

This free two-hour seminar will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 21 at the Alex Philip room at Myrtle Philip School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Reserve space with Dave Beattie at 604-905-6373.
