Whistler bus riders are invited to sneak a peek and to comment on the new, totally revamped schedule for winter bus service.

B.C. Transit says the new schedule addresses key priorities and feedback received from passengers over the past year.

Scheduled times on all routes were reassessed to reflect current passenger and traffic conditions. These changes are expected to improve the system’s reliability. New service to the north end of Function Junction along Alpha Lake Road and improved connections are also planned. These changes build on service expansions already implemented earlier this year, such as, more evening trips on the Tapleys Connector route and more morning Emerald Only and Alpine Only trips.

For those interested in giving feedback, visit www.busonline.ca/regions/whi. All comments must be in by Nov. 3.

The new full winter schedule goes into effect on Dec. 5. This complements the return of the Creekside Express on Oct. 18 and the start of additional Village Shuttle trips on Nov. 27. Work is also underway to improve Whistler’s fleet for the winter season.
