Rotary seeking applicants for Brazilian exchange

Deadline is Oct. 1

Rotary District 5040, which includes the two Whistler Rotary clubs, is looking for candidates to serve as goodwill ambassadors in Brazil during May of 2003.

The group study exchange program is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional men and women. The program is designed to develop professional and leadership skills among young people to better prepare them to address the needs of their communities and an increasingly global workplace.

The program is open to Canadian citizens living in the Rotary District 5040 area, age 25-40, in good health and fully employed in their career of choice.

The deadline for applications is Oct. 1.

Candidates must complete an application form and attach a statement describing their personal goals and how the group study exchange will help them achieve those goals.

For information locally contact Ralph Yeo at 604-905-4303 (work) or 604-905-3823 (home).
