Rummage for Zero Ceiling

Zero Ceiling is hosting a massive rummage sale on Saturday, Dec. 13 at Myrtle Philip School, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All proceeds from this event will go towards Zero Ceiling’s Snowboard Instructor Program, which brings at-risk street youth from Vancouver to Whistler and teaches them to teach snowboarding. Successful graduates are provided with jobs, equipment, a place to live in staff housing, and the ongoing support of Zero Ceiling volunteers.

The donations are slowly piling up, although all donations of new and good-as-new ski and snowboard clothing and equipment can be dropped of outside #25, 2230 Eva Lake Road in Nordic. The offering varies from practical to funky. All volunteers, and more are still needed, will get first pick at the sale.

For more information, or to volunteer to help with the sale, contact Joanna at 604-932-6869.
