SAFE workers recognized

Options for Sexual Health, Canada’s largest sexual health services organization, have recognized Whistler’s Rae MacDonald and Jane Shadley for their work in Whistler.

MacDonald heads up the Whistler SAFE (Sexual Awareness For Everyone) clinic at the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, where Shadley volunteers. The SAFE clinic provides sexual health education for parents, students and professionals throughout Whistler, Pemberton and Squamish.

"We wanted to recognize the tireless passion and courage of people like Rae and Jane who ensure the presence of quality reproductive and health services for their community," said Stephanie Sersli from Options for Sexual Health.
