School board to meet in Pemberton

The Howe Sound School Board is on the road again.

In an effort to be more accessible to constituents in the northern parts of School District 48, the next board meeting, slated for May 9, will be held at Signal Hill elementary school in Pemberton, starting at 6 p.m.

The board’s April 11 meeting was held in Whistler but trustee Alix Nicoll said things were quiet: Only three members of the public attended.
