School needs help to install playground

Myrtle Philip Elementary School needs you.

Volunteers are needed to install the awesome new $80,000 playground on Sept. 2nd and 3 rd .

It will be a rewarding day and grown-up fun as building the playground will be like using giant nuts and bolts Lego pieces to create a challenging and exciting structure for all kids in the community to play on.

Parents have been fundraising for three years to buy the equipment, receiving funds and help from the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation, the provincial government, Vision Pacific, the municipality and school based efforts such as lunch programs.

Please come out and make this a success. If organizers do not have 30 volunteers confirmed by Friday the playground installation will have to be cancelled.

To volunteer, contact Clare on 604-938-2829 or clareogilvie@telus.net.
