For all the aspiring golfers in the area, the Sea to Sky Junior Tour is back for a third summer this season, with a new sponsor in Callaway.
The tour will run every Wednesday, starting July 3 and wrap up Aug. 14.
The goal this year is to have 40 junior golfers signed up before the first tour event.
The cost is $200 plus GST for all seven events, which will be held at local clubs throughout the summer. That includes green fees, snacks at the halfway huts, a chance to win draw prizes, and dinner at the various clubs once the tournaments have wrapped up.
The tour is non-profit and was designed to give junior golfers in the area an opportunity to compete at some of the most exclusive golf courses in the area.
Players can register in advance at Nicklaus North Golf Course, or by mailing a cheque to Patrick Miller, 8080 Nicklaus North Blvd., V0N1B8. You can also register at stops along the tour if there is still space available.
