Skating club finds new head coach 

The new head coach for the Whistler Skating Club brings more than 15 years of coaching experience to the program this season.

Holly Silzer has produced and directed 16 ice shows and her credentials include a NCCP Level II coaching certificate and a Level III theory and technical.

She also has an extensive background in dance, and is certified to teach Kindergarten through Grade 12 in public school.

Registration for the Whistler Skating Club gets underway at Strut Your Stuff this Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Whistler Secondary. The club will be hosting a swap table to buy and sell used skates and outfits.
