Although you wouldnt know it from the snow report, the ski racing season is over for the Whistler Mountain Ski Club. Theres no rest for the determined, however, and dryland training is about to start.
There are on-snow camps scheduled through the summer, but this spring the club is hoping to get in a bit of cardiovascular exercise with weekly "Soccer Sunday" games. Club members will be contacted with the information in the next few weeks.
The one-week summer ski camps, three in Whistler and one at Mt. Hood in Oregon, start up at the end of June and run until early August.

"Despite a late start, a weird Olympic year race schedule and the usual bumps throughout the season, everyone progressed a great deal this season," said FIS coach Brett MacFarlane. "Nearly everyone achieved personal bests, pushed themselves to new limits and learned much. And one of the greatest pleasures was the attitude and keenness everyone displayed which led to many laughs and good times."
