Another round of musical chairs was recently completed in the ski racing world, with former Blackcomb Ski Club director Dave Kerwynn and former Canadian downhill coach Peter Bosinger landing with the U.S. Ski Team.

Bosinger joins the U.S. speed team, filling a hole left by B.C. resident Dale Stephens. Stephens spent the last three seasons as head coach of the U.S. speed team. During that time Daron Rahlves and Chad Fleischer picked up four World Cup podiums and two World Championship podiums.

Stephens has returned to B.C. and will coach the men’s B.C. Ski Team this winter. Prior to joining the U.S. team Stephens spent seven seasons coaching the Canadian Alpine Ski Team.

Kerwynn, who also spent some time with Alpine Canada and now lives in Breckenridge, Colorado, will be working with the U.S. men’s World Cup technical team this winter. That group includes Bode Miller, who won four World Cup events and two Olympic silver medals last season, as well as veterans Eric Schlopy and Chad Fleischer.
