Slopestyle attracts a crowd

The second slopestyle event of the Sprite Series Park Series was just as popular as the first, attracting more than 100 skiers and boarders.

The event took place along the single black diamond route and featured table tops, spines, and different types of rails, and competitors were given a choice of park features in every section. As usual, competitors made good use of the park, launching off rails, spinning 360s and 540s, and getting inverted from time to time.

The Series continues on March 1 with a SnowCross on Blackcomb. Organizers are recommending that competitors register in advance to guarantee a spot by calling 1-800-766-0449 or dropping by a ski school sales location. You’ll also save $5.

Helmets are mandatory for the event and mouthguards and armour is strongly recommended.
