A very active pattern continues to drive multiple intense storms across the B.C. south coast today and tomorrow, Dec.14.
The current frontal system is expected to wane slightly overnight and tomorrow morning and then re-intensify for the second half of Friday. More snow and generally mild conditions are expected with multiple systems through next week.
Over 50 centimetres of snow fell in the alpine in last 24 hours reports Whistler Blackcomb, with another 10 to 15 cm expected today and overnight.
Temperatures are near zero and snow fall accumulations will be highly variable across the region.
Highway 99 has compact snow as you drive north into Whistler from Squamish, with snow starting around Brew Creek.
