SIXTH ANNUAL CORNUCOPIA>>

Whistler’s food and wine celebration will take place from Nov. 6 to 10 offering food and wine seminars, winemaker dinners and special events. For more information and tickets call 604-938-2769.

WAG FUNDRAISER DINNER>>

Support the local animal shelter at the Wicked Wheel in Pemberton on Tues. Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. The $50 tickets include a four course meal with wine and lots of prizes. Money raised will go towards two animal surgeries. Tickets available through WAG.

FLU CLINICS>>

For those people eligible for free flu vaccine – over 65 years of age or with a chronic health condition such as asthma or diabetes – drop in to Coast Garibaldi Health, Unit 202 at the Whistler Health Care Centre on Wed. Nov. 13 from 12 to 1 p.m. Call 604-932-3202 for more information.

WHISTLER MUSUEM & ARCHIVES SOCIETY DINNER>>

Raise some Celtic cheer at a museum dinner at the Dubh Linn Gate on Thurs. Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and include: a new fall buffet dinner, a glass of beer, door prizes, a silent auction, a paper bag raffle and Irish pub entertainment. For tickets call the museum at 604-932-2019 or purchase from Museum Board Members. The funds raised will go towards the museum’s operating costs.

GIANT CHARITY RUMMAGE SALE>>

Zero Ceiling’s giant rummage sale will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sun. Nov.17.
