What: LUNAFLIKS This week’s outdoor movie is ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch.’ It’s a film festival winner about one man’s journey of self-discovery after a botched sex-change operation. Tickets are $5. The movie begins when the sun goes down. Bring blankets and lawn chairs to complete the experience. Call 604-902-0769 for info. What: GIANT USED BOOK SALE Donations needed for the giant used book sale in aid of the Whistler Public Library. All types of books, magazines and videos welcome. Drop off boxes located at Nesters Market, TD Canada Trust in Marketplace and Whistler Public Library. For pick up of large donations or to volunteer call Jane Reid at 604-932-3665.
