What: A DRAMATIC READING OF A CHRISTMAS CAROL Join CBC Radio personality Paul Grant as well as members of the Whistler community for a reading of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” The Whistler Children’s Chorus will provide musical accompaniment. Tickets $10 at Armchair Books and the Whistler Public Library.

What: WHISTLER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The Whistler Chamber of Commerce hosts its AGM, where they’ll announce the results of Chamber Board elections, the Business Person of the Year Award and an update from VANOC.

What: BC MUSEUM OF MINING PRE-CHRISTMAS SALE The BC Museum of Mining is hoting a pre-Christmas sale. The public is invited to enjoy employee pricing with a full 20 per cent off everythign in teh gift shop. Proceeds to go support the museum, a non-profit organization.

What: THE NUTCRACKER It’s George Ballanchine’s classic like you’ve never seen it before. Goh Ballet presents the Nutcracker in Whistler. What: 25th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE OF LESSONS AND CAROLS The 25th annual interdenominational Christmas Eve service and everyone is welcome to attend. Community members will be there to read the story of Christmas and the public is invited to join with them in singing Christmas carols.
