What: OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE AND GARDEN TOUR A benefit for St. David's United Church and the Mission and Outreach of First United Church, this is a tour of gardens and outdoor living in the Pemberton Valley. What: INTERNATIONAL PARALYMPIC DAY Get hyped up on the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games coming to Whistler next year at this afternoon event. Meet the athletes; check out the 2010 Paralympic Torch; shake hands with Sumi, the 2010 Paralympic mascot; and more.

What: WHISTLER CHILDREN'S ART FESTIVAL Time for the little ones to get into art during this all-day event packed with activities. Kids (and eager parents) can try their hand at chocolate dipping, drumming, making print t-shirts, origami, beading with glass, and much more. Cost is $5 per kid; parents play free.

What: MICHELLE SIMS, BEAR AWARE PROGRAM DELIVERY SPECIALIST The Whistler Public Library presents three separate talks by Michelle Sims of Bear Aware, who will speak about bears native to Whistler, what they eat and how they behave.

What: TEMPORARY FOREIGN WORKER SESSION The Whistler Chamber of Commerce presents a session to educate people on how to allow a foreign national to work in Canada on a permanent or temporary basis. It will also show how employers can address skills shortages.
