What: FOUR HOST FIRST NATIONS ABORIGINAL ARTIST VILLAGE The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is hosting an Aboriginal Artist Village through to the end of the Paralympic Games. It showcases aboriginal artists from across Canada including modern and contemporary arts and crafts.

What: "CONSUMING KIDS" FILM SCREENING Cedar Valley School presents a film screening of Consuming Kids, a critically acclaimed documentary about a marketing machine that's selling kids things like junk food and violent video games. It will change the way you think about modern kids.

What: THE BIG RED BLOWOUT The Re-Use-It Centre is hosting a blowout of like-new single beds. You can buy a single bed for $25 and that includes both the bed and the frame up until March 25. After that it costs $40. If you need a bed, this is the place to get it. Other choice is Sleep Country or IKEA.

What: BENEFIT TO SUPPORT PHOTOGRAPHER ERIN HOGUE Creekbread is hosting A Night of Organic Pizzas to support Erin Hogue Photography in its most recent project, in association with Skate4Cancer. A portion of pizza sales will go to a project that promotes cancer prevention in today's youth.

What: TELUS WORLD SKI AND SNOWBOARD FESTIVAL Yes, regrettably there's another party coming. It's a 10-day-and-night showcase of progressions in the skiing and snowboarding world with arts and music events pumped full of adrenaline. It's Canada's largest free outdoor concert series.
