STAR SEARCH YOUTH TALENT NIGHT>>

Music, dance and other acts by talented youth between 13 to 21 will make up the 12 th annual Star Search Talent Night on Fri. June 4 at the Eagle Eye Theatre in Squamish. THE ROAD TO OZ>>

Still Dancing’s annual performance is called ‘The Road to Oz’ featuring 120 dancers between the ages of 3 to 50. The performance takes place on Sat. June 5 at the Myrtle Philip Community Centre at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 adults/$6 children from Katmandu, Club Flex and at the door. For info call Patrick McCurdy at 604-932-7782.

The award-winning Triplets of Belleville is showing at Village 8 on Wed. June 9 at 6:30 p.m., 8:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m as part of the Whistler Film Festival Society’s "Reel Alternatives" series. Tix are $8.50 and available in advance at Escape Route.

RICK HANSEN WHEELS IN MOTION>>

The second annual Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion event is taking place on Sun. June 13 at the Meadow Park Sport Centre. Wheel, bike, skate, run or walk the designated course to help raise awareness and funds for people with spinal cord injuries. There will be a BBQ, 50/50 draw, face painting and draw prizes. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
