DAY OF THE DEAD>>

Celebrate the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead at the Whistler Public Library on Sat. Nov. 13 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The event is geared for 5-9 year olds with stories, rhymes, games and a craft. Pre-registration required. Call 604-932-5564.

A touch of India is coming to MY Place. Trained in two classical styles of vocal music from India, namely Ghazals (songs of poetry and love) and Punjabi folk songs, Kiran Ahluwalia will perform in Whistler on Sat. Nov. 13 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $17/$20 from 604-935-8410.
