What: Eagle Watch Volunteer Program. The volunteer interpreter program is gearing up for its 10th season and needs volunteers. What: GALA FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS It’s the annual evening of dinner, dancing, wine and live music all in the name of raising money for non-profit groups in the Whistler community. Tickets for the festival are now on sale at the Whistler Real Estate Company or Re/Max of Whistler.

What: Mountaineer’s Soiree. Canadian climbing legend Peter Croft will present a slideshow at the sixth annual Mountaineer’s Soiree. Tickets are $10 from Escape Route or $12 at the door. There will be a beer garden and silent auction.

What: LUNA Get vertical at the next Late & Unique Nighttime Alternatives indoor rock climbing event with instructors from the Great Wall. Tickets are $2/$5 at the Whistler Employment Resource Centre.
