What: LUNA – Yo MERRY! Christmas dinner is coming early in Whistler. LUNA – Late & Unique Nighttime Alternatives – is hosting a dinner and a movie night to whet your appetitie before Christmas day. For $2-$4 you can get a Christmas dinner, compete in the Iron Cookie Chef bakeoff and paint your own ceramics. Get into the holiday spirit with LUNA.

Where: Spruce Grove Field House

What: CAROL SERVICE For 19 years Whistler has celebrated Christmas with an annual Carol Service. Sing along at this year’s service co-hosted by the Whistler Children’s Chorus and the Whistler Singers. There will be readings from community members. This is an interdenominational carol service and admission is by donation.

Where: Whistler Conference Centre

What: ROBIN FINDS CHRISTMAS Join the Whistler Village Church and celebrate the meaning of Christmas in drama, words and song. The play ‘Robin Finds Christmas’ will be followed by a family service. Admission by donation. For info call 604-935-8450. There will be a traditional carol service at 10:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve as well as a family service at 10 a.m. on Christmas morning.

What: CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE Church on the Mountain and Whistler Community Church are holding three Christmas Eve services this year. All are welcome to attend. For information call 604-932-3139.

What: musica intima Twevle professional singers who rehearse and perform without a conductor will be coming to Whistler during the holiday season. The Alta Lake School presents "musica intima: The Songbooks Concert." They will sing a compilation of great love songs from the golden age of Cole Porter, Gershwin and Rogers & Hammerstein

Where: MY Millennium Place

What: FIRST NIGHT Back again for more family fun, First Night will delight both kids and adults alike. Check out the Fire Spinners, the local psychics who will look into the future, the Ice Palace, Lantern Making, the Wishing Chair and more! The event is alcohol free. Get your tickets for the New Year celebrations now at Municipal Hall, Meadow Park, Millennium Place, the Visitor Information Centre and the Activity Centre.
