What: THE FUTURE OF FOOD The coalition for a G.E. Free B.C. is putting together a fundraiser to ban genetic ally engineered foods in B.C. Check out the documentary, The Future of Food, and join in the facilitated discussion after the film. Tickets are $10 at the door in Squamish.

What: LUNA - ROCKET LOUNGE It’s a living room setting in the heart of the village. Drop by and try some new things - learn turntable skills ($15), join a drum circle, or use an open mic. All welcome. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available. Free for members, $2 otherwise.

What: HO-HO-HO-LIDAY CRAFTS Paste, cut and paint your way to make lots of festive holiday crafts. Bring the entire family. The event is free but a donation to the Food Bank is encouraged. All ages are welcome.

What: Free meditation Class Yoga master Balakhilya das will give a free seminar teaching easy techniques of meditating and how they can be applied to our daily lives. No registration required. No experience necessary.

When: Tuesday December 13, 7-9 p.m.

Where: MY Millennium Place

What: LUNA - SNOWBOUND Talk with industry pros, have a pie and a drink and check out a ski/snowboard movie. This week it’s ‘Future Proof’ by Absinthe Films. Tickets are $5/$3.

When: Thursday December 15, 9 p.m. to midnight

Where: MY Millennium Place

What: ARTDRENALINE - FEARLESS The art-stravaganza featuring film, writing, visual arts and photography, dance and acting with the local talent. Ticets are $20/$16. Call 604-935-8410.
