Happy Birthday Re-Use-It Centre, turns eight on the 8th

What: LUNA - SNOWBOUND Meet snowboarder Kevin Sansalone and the Sandbox crew and learn all about shooting action films on the mountain. $5 or $3 for LUNA cardholders, includes a pie and a drink.

What: Paralympic FLAG RAISING Mark the countdown to hosting the Paralympic Games in Whistler along with a number of dignitaries in this special flag raising ceremony. Dignitaries include Whistler Mayor Ken Melamed, Vancouver Mayor Sam Sullivan and Chief Leonard Andrew of the Lil’wat First Nation.

What: FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE The Whistler Youth Centre is presenting its annual Youth Variety Show – an evening of entertainment. Partial proceeds will go to UNICEF for earthquake relief in Pakistan. For more info call 604-935-8187. Tickets are $7/$2.
