What: LUNAFLIKS It’s a double feature this week! Mountain biking movie Roam kicks off the evening followed by The Jacket. Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and snuggle under the stars. Leave the booze at home. In case of rain call the LUNA Hotline at 604-902-0769. Tickets are $5/$3.

What: ANNUAL ALPINE WALK Join the Whistler Naturalists for their Annual Alpine Walk. After riding the chairlifts the walk begins from the Rendezvous and heads to the Decker tarn for lunch. Total return time 4-5 hours. Bring good, water, study boots and your ski pass. Cost is $15. Contact Bob Brett at 604-932-8900.

What: BREAST CANCER FUNDRAISER Go to Maxx Fish dressed in pink and help support a worthy cause – two local women are walking 60 kms for the cause Aug. 18-20. Sign their shirts and show your support. $10 at the door.
