What: RIDE   THE   RAILS Ride the 3 km miniature train through a festival of lights and displays in Squamish at the 8th annual ‘Christmas Lights in the Park.’ Seats are limited. Tickets are $4.50 per person. Bring your camera for a picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus until December 23. The park is located at 39645 Government Road.

What: ROMANZA They aim to make classical music more accessible! Romanza is Frédérik Robert, Philip Grant and Ken Lavigne and their repertoire includess opera arias, musical theatre, popera, love ballads and Canadian folk tunes. Tickets are $22/$19. Call 604-935-8410.

What: LUNA - CHRISTMAS DINNER Have a traditional Christmas turkey dinner with all the fixings. Tickets are $5/$3. Catch the #3 bus.

Where: Spruce Grove Field House

What: STEP IT   UP no2 Hilltrip presents a Sustainable Food Session with three guest speakers, free food and drinks at this fundraising effort to benefit the Snowrider Project in Vancouver. Speakers include Whisterites Diana Rochon, Sarinda Hoilett and Randall Carpenter. All welcome to attend.
