What: THE ART OF DRAWING – BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE Instructor Isobel MacLaurin will teach you how to create simple compositions in black and white using only art pencils, as well as study and sketch basic shapes with gesture drawings using the magnificent scenery surrounding Alta Lake as subject matter. What: BIRD COUNT ON THE ESTUARY Join the Squamish Environment Conservation Society (SECS) for their monthly bird count. Expert and beginner birders alike are invited. A great way to learn about the birds in our estuary and get to know other birders in Squamish. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars if you have them.

What: PUBLIC DRUM CIRCLE Performance with Pepe Danza and participants of all of Leadership by Youth for Faith and the Earth. Celebrate the diversity of drums and beats of the spirits for the earth and sea and sky in an open circle in the heart of Whistler Village. All are welcome.
