What: TERRY FOX RUN Walk, run, wheelchair, or bike either 5 km or 10 km in support of Terry Fox’s legendary ‘Marathon of Hope’. No registration fee is required, however donations are graciously accepted. To date, more than $400 million has been raised worldwide for cancer research in Terry’s name through the annual Terry Fox Run, held across Canada and the world. For more info, call 604 966 2643.

What: LUNA HARVEST ART FEST This year’s theme is entitled The Green Art Show. Works of art with environmentally friendly messaging, processes, materials, and mediums will be displayed outdoors along a magical forested trail. All works are created by young adults age 18 – 35. Entry is free.

What: KIDS FUN DAY Join the Whistler Rotary Club at this fun filled day for kids of all ages in a celebration of the end of summer. Events include face painting, arts and crafts, and old-fashioned races, such as sack races and egg and spoon races. Music entertainment and bbq lunch also available. Event runs rain or shine. Admission by donation.
