What: SCREENING ROOM LUNA screens the film Rebel Music next Friday. The film documents Bob Marley’s life and career, with a particular focus on how his music instigated political change in Jamaica. What: HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL The Whistler Secondary School Drama Club presents the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie this weekend. The play takes place in 1922 and tells the story of a girl who moves to New York to marry for money instead of love. Tickets are on sale at MY Millennium Place box office. What: SPRING FLING This fundraiser for the Whistler Film Festival Society features wine from British Columbia, gourmet delicacies from some Whistler restaurants, live entertainment by The Hairfarmers, a silent auction and an exciting grand prize raffle. Tickets are $50, available at the Tourism Whistler Activity and Info Centre.
